I. Introduction
We currently live in a globalized world in which the advancement of science and technology has developed with dizzying and astonishing speed. We are eyewitnesses of a fabulous expansion of knowledge in all areas of knowledge, and day by day discoveries are made that really surprise us.
Human Rights are not at all alien to such circumstances and therefore the issues related to them have also experienced notable development and expansion. In recent years we have seen how, in addition to being included in the constitutions and laws of the States, they have also entered the international scene by being included in multiple international instruments and by establishing international systems for their protection.
However, paradoxically and despite all of the above, we can sadly perceive that on the subject of Human Rights, there is still much to be done since violations of the elemental rights of the human person proliferate everywhere, and the so-called “universality” of such rights, it is not yet a reality that is lived in the whole world.
This work aims to show in a tight synthesis and in a general way, what is the current situation of Human Rights in the globalized world in which we live, making mention of the progress made, but also of the existing problems. In the same way, it seeks to address the main challenges and some of the future perspectives, which are glimpsed today in the subject of Human Rights, trying to reach some conclusions.
It is not an exhaustive investigation , however it can give us a global panorama and a fairly close idea of what happens with Human Rights in these hectic times of globalization.

Assessing what is the current situation of Human Rights in the world is a complex issue and not at all simple, because the issue is full of lights but also shadows. Of course, more than sixty years after the proclamation ofthe Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948 great advances have been made, but also unfortunately we must warn that there are still many problems and serious violations of Human Rights continue to occur throughout the world.

· The proliferation of international instruments on Human Rights.
Nowadays, without a doubt, it can be considered an advance in the subject of Human Rights, the one that most of the States of the world have already included in their Constitutions and national laws Human Rights catalogs and also that a good part of they have established means of protection of such rights.
On the other hand, it should also be noted that from the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from 1948 to the present day there has been a great proliferation of international treaties on Human Rights, to date there are more than sixty international instruments of a universal nature and a good number more of a regional nature, covering multiple aspects and related topics, such as: Political and Civil Rights, Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Racial discrimination, discrimination against women, torture and cruel and degrading penalties, children’s rights, migrant workers, enforced disappearances, people with disabilities, death penalty, self-determination of the peoples, indigenous peoples, national or ethnic minorities, the elderly, administration of justice, progress, social development, hunger and malnutrition, right to peace, human genome, marriage, right to health, employment, freedom of association, slavery and servitude, refugees, stateless persons, war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, Humanitarian Law and armed conflicts.
